27 participants graduated the trainings on Design and Technology in Fashion Accessories

TWENTY SEVEN participants graduated in the training on Design and Technology in Fashion Accessories Major in Design and Product Development in Natural Materials last August 7, 2008 at Costume Jewelry Center Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu city

Most of the participants agreed that what they learned most about the training were visual merchandizing, antique application, pattern making, smocking, stitching, and basting.

PJ Arañador, training director and consultant fort the said training, inspired the participants to continue honing their crafts until they reached at level of mastery. He encouraged them to make time for creative relaxation and reflection which is vital for coming up with fantastic designs.

 Aside from the graduation program, a mini-exhibit was also held to showcase the output of the participants. Other products that pass the evaluation would be displayed at the special settings of the BIJOUX CEBU on September 20-22 at Shangri-la’s Mactan Island Resort and Spa, Cebu.

The one-month training was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology Region -7.
